About the Role

Evaro are looking to welcome an experienced permanent Pharmacy Technician to join them. You will be based in Norwich, working as part of a small close-knit team in an environment that moves quickly but takes accuracy seriously. If you’re used to spending most of your shift behind a counter, this will feel different - in a good way. This position is offered on a full or part-time basis, working 8am - 6pm but we can be flexible so please apply to discuss further.

This isn’t a dispensing-first role. Around 80% of your time is spent in direct patient consultations, primarily around contraception and guiding patients through their options, answering questions, and making sure they leave with the right information and the right medication. The other 20% is dispensing, handled through Evaro’s regulated platform with clinical oversight built in.

Duties will include:
  • Deliver NHS contraception consultations in line with service protocols
  • Document consultations accurately
  • Escalate clinical queries appropriately to the pharmacist
  • Build consultation volume progressively from 10-15 daily to approximately 35consultations per day
  • Assist with medication preparation
  • Support safe and accurate dispensing of medication

Please see job description for additional information.

About the Candidate

Essential:
  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification (or equivalent) — fullyqualified and registered
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a community pharmacy setting with hands-ondispensing and patient-facing responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills with confidence to deliver sensitive NHScontraception consultations
  • Ability to follow processes and maintain accuracy in routine tasks
  • Basic IT skills to work with dispensing systems
Desirable:
  • Previous experience delivering NHS clinical services (e.g., contraceptionconsultations)
  • CPPE Communication Training
  • Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualification or interest in progressingtoward ACT status
