Counter Assistant

Brook Hill Pharmacy and Great Notley Surgery has an opportunity for a counter assistant to join our busy pharmacy team working at the heart of our patient care service. This is a part time role for 10.75 hours per week: 

Wednesday 7.45am -2pm and Saturday mornings 7.45 to 12.15pm

The main responsibilities of the role include:

• Greeting customers and patients coming into the pharmacy.
• Taking in and handing out prescriptions.
• Maintaining the shop floor.
• Selling over the counter products and cashing up.

You will need to be flexible to cover for holidays and staff absence.

The ideal candidate will:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Possess experience of working in a busy, public environment.
• Be flexible, with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate good team working and communication skills.
• Demonstrate an excellent standard of patient care.
